    Description

Majestic Nautical Cigar Label. Full color lithographed 10" x 6.5" inner label with gold-embossed highlights. Steaming across the paper is the S.S. Majestic of the White Star Line. An early luxury liner, this vessel joined White Star's fleet in 1890 and for a time held the speed record for crossing the Atlantic. For a number of years, commencing in 1895, she was captained by Edward J. Smith of Titanic fame. A splendid lithograph that should appeal to maritime historians as well as to cigar label collectors. Near mint. This label is listed as one of the "InStone 100" blue chip cigar labels.
