Description

Scotch Piper Cigar Label by Wm. Steiner, Sons & Co, New York. Full-color lithographed 10" x 6" inner label with gold-embossed highlights. A grand Scotsman, in full tartan regalia, plays his bagpipes, the wood replaced by gold, in front of an idyllic Highland scene. Behind the strutting musician is an invitingly rustic house set in front of a majestic mountain, the craggy gray of which cutting into the fair, blue sky. The bottom of the whole pleasant scene is bordered by twelve gold-embossed Scotch Thistles, the national emblem of Scotland. Excellent label in near mint. From the Richard Revolinski Collection.
