    Description

Lone Trail Native American Cigar Label by Schmidt & Co., New York, 1901. Full color lithographed 10" x 6" inner label with gold-embossed highlights. The bust of a noble Indian chief in full ceremonial regalia rests upon a bow and is flanked by scenes of forest and plain. The American Indian was a stock advertising device for cigar manufacturers given his association with the dubious gift of tobacco. Slight wear to one corner, else near mint. This label is listed as one of the "InStone 100" blue chip cigar labels.
