Gen. Harrison Cigar Label. A lithographed 10" x 6" inner label picturing our 23rd president. Benjamin Harrison, grandson of President William Henry Harrison, served in the Union Army during the Civil War rising to the rank of brevet brigadier general. He won the 1888 election though he received 100,000 less popular votes than incumbent Grover Cleveland. His portrait is bordered in an embossed gold frame and surrounded by various symbols of commerce, industry, and trade. This label should have appeal to Civil War and political memorabilia collectors. Very fine condition with a small stain at the top margin not affecting the image.
