DescriptionEdsonia Cigar Label by George Schlegel of New York. A boldly lithographed 9.75" x 6.5" inner label with excellent gold embossing. This Edsonia (a take-off on the name of inventor Thomas A. Edison) label pictures an 1890s vintage cylinder phonograph or, as it was often called then, a talking machine with the catch phrase "It Speaks For Itself" below. This rare example of cigar label art will certainly appeal to the cylinder/record collector or the audiophile and would display very well. Fine condition with some light handling and a diagonal crease in the right side. This label is listed as one of the "InStone 100" blue chip cigar labels.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
