    The Union Metallic Cartridge Co. Wooden Crate of Gatling Gun Ammunition. Comprising: 1.) Twenty-six complete boxes of twenty .45-500 caliber cartridges from The Union Metallic Cartridge Co. 2.) Seven open boxes of twenty .45-500 caliber cartridges from The Union Metallic Cartridge Co. 3.) Seven boxes of twenty .45-70 caliber cartridges from U.S. C. Co. 4.) Two boxes of twenty .45-70 cartridges marked: U.S.M.C. S/H. 5.) Approximately 120 loose .45 caliber cartridges from various manufacturers. All contained in wooden crate marked: 1000 BALL CARTRIDGES / CAL. 45 / SMOKELESS POWDER / THE UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE CO. / BRIDGEPORT, CONN. U.S.A.
    Condition: Good to very good. 1.) Boxes are 80% plus complete, but very fragile and falling apart. 2.) Boxes are 50% plus complete with noticeable pasteboard loss. 3.) Boxes are 75% plus complete with no markings. 4.) Boxes are 90% plus complete with no markings. All cartridges appear to be in very good
    condition. Crate showing signs of poor storage. Lid broken. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
