Description
Lot of Two Leather Wrapped Powder Flasks.Comprising: Brass on leather design. Storage next to charger with swing out cover. Knurled edge. Overall size 3 3/4-inches. Similar style on page 391 [plate 1071] on The Powder Flask Book by Riling. 2) Silver-plating over brass with leather design. Double chargers (small and medium). Double storage. Overall size is 4 1/6-inches. 1893 marked on both sides of base (appears to be of the period). No examples found on Riling's book, quite scarce.
Condition: Both with moderate age wear, with pitting and patina present. Small dents and bruising. Dings and mars to edges and screws. 1893 marking, although not original to the flask, appears period.
