    Lot of Three Pistol Flasks.
    Comprising: 1) Shell-shape design flask. Birmingham made. Overall length is 3 3/4-inches with a 5/8-inch spout. Similar flask on page 288 [plate 316] in The Powder Flask Book by Riling. 2) Shell design flask. Also, Birmingham made. Body is 3 5/8-inches, 5/8-inch spout. See page 288 [plate 314] for example in Riling's book. 3) Copper made with outside spring. 3 3/4-inch body. Running hare scene. See page 384 [plate 1002] in The Powder Flask Book by Riling for example.

    Condition: All good, with age wear. Some bumps and bruising present. Patina and tarnish present. Dings to running hare flask. All appear to be work of Birmingham makers. Some marred screws, light surface and fine scratches.
