    Lot of Four Collectible Powder Flasks.
    Comprising: 1) English bag-shaped example. Top of flat marked SYKES PATENT. Overall length is 4 11/16-inches. Ring base. Sykes was in business from 1797-1864. Similar example pictured on page 276 [plate 190] on The Powder Flask Book by Riling. 2) Brass bag-shaped flask with top of flat marked JAMES DIXON & SONS. Overall size is 4 5/16-inches. Similar examples on pages 275 & 276 [plates 184, 200] of Riling's book. 3) Small bag-shape flask. Overall size is 4 1/4-inches. Appears to have a replaced charger. Similar example of page 274 [plate 146] of Riling's book. 4) Small bag-shaped brass flask. Top of flat marked DIXON & SONS / SHEFFIELD. Overall size is 3 5/8-inches. The smallest of the grouping offered in this lot. Similar style also on page 274 [plate 144]. Charger with measurement markings. Tapered tip.

    Condition: Good, all with age wear. Some fine markings, dings and bumps. Wear to edges. Number 3 with possible replacement to charger. Good selection of small all English made flasks.
