    Description

Advertising: Early Dupont Gunpowder Receipt. 8" x 10" printed and manuscript receipt issued in Boston in 1831 by Copeland's Powder Store. Mr. Jason Holbrook "... Bought at the DUPONT Powder Store..." $3.75 worth of buck shot. Great graphics of hunters at top. Dupont had only been in business around 25 years at this point. Early ammunition receipts associated with them are decidedly scarce. Hinged at top with linen tape to a larger sheet. Light, normal aging.
