DescriptionTwo Interesting Indian Cabinet Photos. "Sitting Bull's Log Cabin Morning of the Fight". From a U.S. Army photo, published in Chicago for distribution at the 1893 Columbian Exposition. Sitting Bull's home was dismantled and rebuilt on the fairground and was one of the most popular exhibits there. Excellent condition with modern ink writing on verso.
"War Dance Sioux", a rare image by Sawyers & Connolley, Purcel, Indian Territory. The Indians are in traditional dress and this appears not to have been staged for a photo. Excellent condition.
