    Description

Two Indian Photos: "Chief Sitting Bull and Squaw" and "Gotebo, Kiowa War Chief". The "Sitting Bull" pictured is Arapaho, not the famed Lakota Medicine Man. Cabinet photo glued onto old mount, with period pencil inscription on verso. Shows overall aging and one horizontal crease.

The albumen portrait of Gotebo is a marvelous image showing him holding a beautifully carved cane with a dog head finial. Excellent condition. 3.75" x 5.5" and probably originally intended for mounting on a cabinet card.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
