    Description

Beaded Indian Belt, early 20th century. This belt measures 63" long and 3-1/2" at its widest point. It is solidly covered with thread-sewn white, blue, red, and green glass seed beads. The tanned hide has a short rip from the right end and there is some bead loss near and within the two adjacent medallions. The hide of that same section is very dry with overall surface cracking, else, this belt is in very good condition. The Michael Ward Collection of Western Americana
