    Description

Vintage Display Sign With Washington and Lincoln Motif. Pressed paper with painted highlights, 13" x 15.5". A visually impressive piece, from the late 19th or early 20th century with a central theme of eagle, federal shield and E Pluribus Unum banner, with portraits of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln below. The piece has a surprising amount of detail considering the medium. The sign has a slight bit of damage at one spot on the eagle's wings and there is a visible crease which runs through the portraits, however it is in very good condition considering the fragility and disposable nature of this type item.
