    Description

Two J. Chein & Co. Mechanical Tin Banks and One Mousetrap Bank. Both Chein banks measure about 5" tall, and the mousetrap measures approximately 2" wide x 1.75" tall x 3" deep. The first Chein bank is a clown's head. A button at the bottom activates the tongue inside the clown's mouth, which brings the coin inside once the button is released. The second Chein bank is a circus elephant sitting on a platform. Put a coin in the slit in the elephant's trunk, then push down on the lever in the back, and see the coin disappear inside. The third bank is a mousetrap. Push down on a small lever and insert a coin through the slot revealed in the front of the bank. All three banks are lithographed tin, with vibrant colors remaining. Overall fine condition.
