Presidential Wax Museum & Circus Poster. A highly-colorful 40" x 30" poster that advertises "W. W. Cole's New Colossal Show [of] Prominent Americans." It dates circa 1885 and represents a form of public entertainment that combined elements of the circus, Barnum's American Museum and Buffalo Bill's Wild West. The show had four rings or elements: Circus Menagerie, Museum and Wax Statuary, Hippodrome and Racing, and the Mexicans and Wild West. The central portion of the poster depicts the prominent Americans contained in the "Gallery of Wax Statuary." They include all the presidents through Cleveland, Vice President Hendricks, Roscoe Conkling, Ben Butler, Jay Gould, W. H. Vanderbilt, James G. Blaine, Henry Ward Beecher and T. DeWitt Talmadge. The condition is excellent. There is a remnant of a pasted-on "detail" strip along the bottom edge. This has great crossover appeal and would be a "stellar" attraction gracing the wall of any collector's den.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
