DescriptionSelf-Framed Tin Lithograph Advertising Sign for the Ebbert Wagon. 37.5" x 26". Marked "Chas. W. Shonk Co. Litho Chicago" in the bottom right corner. In excellent condition, this turn of the century sign features the Ebbert farm wagon, as sold by the Hickman - Ebbert Co. of Owensboro, Ky. Featured is a bright green farm wagon with red wheels filled with hay, beside a couple working at picking apples. The colors are vivid and sharp. The lithographed scene is marked "Design by USG Clemens Copyright 1906" in the bottom left corner and titled across the bottom "In The Shade Of The Old Apple Tree." There are a few minor scuffs to the tin frame, but the central litho is in excellent condition. Not often does one have the opportunity to purchase a tin sign in such great condition.
