    Description

Rare Winchester Single "W" Model 1890 Cartridge Board, in a golden oak frame. For anyone who admires great vintage advertising, a Winchester Cartridge Board is the ultimate quest on the bucket list. This example is one of the less common variations on the "Single W" design with geese in the center, Indian hunters to the left and a cowboy taking position beside his horse on the right. The sign displays all the original bullets and cartridges sold by Winchester. Slightly yellowed, the board is all original and has only some edge wear and two minor tears near the right and left corners at the top. On the back a paper label reads "Presented with Compliments Winchester Repeating Arms Co. Please Hang in A Prominent Place." The sign fits nicely in the frame making it appear as if you just took it off the wall in the local hardware store in 1890. Size: 51" x 38" as framed.
