    Description

TWO WONDERFUL JACK ARMSTRONG PREMIUMS. Launched in 1933 by a Chicago advertising agency, Jack Armstrong, the All American Boy, was one of the first and most memorable juvenile radio shows. It ran from 1933 to 1950, when in '51 "Armstrong changed to Armstrong of the SBI".  These two pieces are from the earlier radio show and are in great condition. The "Magic Answer Box" is in excellent condition and comes with the original mailing box. The rarer of the two items is the "Jack Armstrong Bombsight" which comes with the assembly instructions. This instruction piece is complete but has some holes and discoloration.  It is still very readable and gives you the info needed to play along.  The Magic Box is approximately 3 3/4" long with the Bombsight being slightly smaller.  Two great premium pieces recalling an earlier day of great radio that fueled the imagination of many kids.
