    Description

    Maxfield Parrish: 1920 Small Edison Mazda Calendar "Prometheus". This calendar illustration was one of the early images in the "History of Light" series for the Edison Mazda Electric Light Bulb company. This particular example was issued by the Eaton Case Company of Norwich, Connecticut. Calendar pad missing, sight size is 8.5" x 19", handsomely framed. Very fine condition with vibrant colors. There are creases across the top & bottom with a small hardly noticeable tear in the right border.
