    Lot of Five Items Belonging to Texas Ranger Captain Clint Peoples. Comprising: 1) Custom Ordered Western Hat. Of fine gray felt by Worth Walden Co. Dallas, Texas. Grosgrain ribbon. Leather sweat band with gold embossed legend reading: Clint Peoples/U.S. Marshal. 2) Presentation Plaque from City of Waco to Clint Peoples. Brass on 8-inch x 10-inch beveled hardwood frame the inscription reading: In Appreciation To/Clint Peoples/For His Dedicated Service To The/Texas Ranger Commemorative Foundation/City of Waco/June 11, 1976. Brass plate surmounted by two coins commemorating the Texas Ranger Sesquicentennial 1823-1973. 3) Hard bound first edition of Clint Peoples Texas Ranger by James M. Day. Signed by Peoples. 4) Hand-forged, custom CP branding iron signed by maker. 5) Mounted piece of cowhide with CP brand. Tacked to silvered section of barn wood surmounted with horse shoe nail. Condition: 1) Excellent. Minor handling wear. 2) Very good to excellent. Minor soiling. 3) Fine with light scuffs to dust jacket and clipped. Pages slightly puckered from damp. 4-5) Excellent.
