    Description

Miniature Sample Size Display Jar. In a diminutive size looking very dainty, this jar is known to have been made by the Tiffin Glass Co. of Ohio. The use for this rare size jar is something that has been questioned, but with the Heinz label affixed it would lead one to believe it may have been used to distribute samples of products. The ground stopper and neck of the jar show some wear as one might expect from table use, but there are no chips or defects with the pontil on the bottom being smooth. This very rare 5" tall size is in excellent condition with the lid fitting nicely.
