    Description

Exceptional 24" Display Jar with an excellent Heinz Pickling label on the front. Often called show globes, these huge jars were not so much for actually "putting up" or storing the product but more often for showing off the product at expositions and fairs. This particular jar is ground around the neck and has a ground lid that fits it nicely. It's amazing, but I can find no chips or problems with this jar. It appears excellent to near mint in describing it's condition. A very tough size and worthy of any collection.

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
