Aunt Jemima: Archive of Artwork, Contract and More. Interesting group of ephemera related to one of the most famous brands in American history - namely, "Aunt Jemima Pancake Flour". The most important item might be the 1925 contract of sale of the "Aunt Jemima Mills Company" of Delaware to the Quaker Oats Company of New Jersey. The sales price was $4.2M. There are three pieces of Aunt Jemima original artwork and six examples of packaging (including a very early one for the "Ralston Health Pancake and Waffle Flour Self-Rising Mixture"). There are also two promotional booklets, an 1890 ad showing the early "face" of Aunt Jemina, an advertising cover for the Davis Milling Company (William F. Davis was the holder of the Aunt Jemima name) and legal papers related to the sale of the Buel property from Mr. Davis.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
