    Antique Advertising: Store Counter Cigar Cutters. 1) Nickel plated, the Country Gentleman and American Thoroughbred cigars cutter is marked "Pat. May 19, 1891" and made by The Brunhoff Mfg. Co., 3" x 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" high, cutter is located on the top and clips with a push of the lever. Excellent condition. 2) Optimo Cigars advertising counter cutter with some restoration and not working, but a gorgeous display piece. Cast into the back is the name of the maker, The Brunhoff Mfg. of Cincinnati, Ohio. The cutter is 6" across through the face of the portrait and 9.25" from foot to foot on the front. Appears to have all parts, but the inside coil needs work. Super display pieces!!
