    Adams' New York Chewing Gum Box Label. In 1899, the American Chicle Company was formed by Yucatan Gum, Adams Gum, Beeman's Gum, Kis-Me Gum, and S. T. Britten all joining forces. Thomas Adams Jr. was elected Chairman of the Board. Offered here is a box label for the Adams' New York variety of their gum. The box label boasts "Snapping and Stretching" as selling points of the gum. 400 pieces were included for a retail price of $1.00. The label is in near mint condition, with only one small blemish on the left corner.
