Description

German Pre-War Heym Drilling Combination Gun. Serial No. 5276, 16 gauge/8.8mm caliber, 26 1/2-inch barrels. Barrel with tapered matte rib with single blade front sight, flip up rear sight and mounts for scope. Barrels liberally marked with various German proofs. Locks exquisitely engraved with floral scroll and pheasant vignette on the right side and deer vignette on the left side. Horn trigger guard and grip cap. Side safety. Top tang selector. When the rifle is selected the front trigger becomes a single set trigger. Pachmayr rubber recoil pad. Finely figured checkered walnut stock and fore-end. Bullet trap on the lower edge of the butt. Factory mounted sling swivels. Length of pull 13-inches. Total weight 7 pounds.
Condition: Excellent. Showing little wear to the bluing on the barrels and with a slight patina to the coin locks. Excellent mechanical condition. Bright bores.
