House, [1957]. First edition. Tall octavo. [viii], 1168 pages.
Publisher's bluish-green cloth, spine lettered in gilt and stamped
in black, front board stamped in gilt, navy blue topstain, in
original dust jacket. Jacket with some repairs and restoration,
jacket spine toned, some light rubbing and edgewear to jacket, some
rubbing and thumbsoiling to binding, gutter facing title-page
starting, binding a bit shaken. Very good in a restored jacket.
