Description
First Year Production Winchester Model 01 Lever Action Shotgun.Serial no. 65870, 10 gauge [2 7/8-inch], 32-inch barrel with fixed front bead sight. Blued finish. Full choke. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and smooth fore-end panels. Rubber recoil pad. Warning tag. Note: According to records, this shotgun was manufactured August 9th, 1901.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 90-94% finish with thinning to muzzle and relief edges, scattered handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Few dings and scuffs present to wood. Checkering appears to be added at a later time and not factory [no border cut line].
