Description

Colt Single Action Army Revolver. Serial no. 278882 [frame] and 279882 [triggerguard and butt], .45 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and two-line Hartford address. Blued finish. Two-line, three-date patent and Rampant Colt in broken circle marked on left side of frame. Checkered hard rubber grips. Manufactured in 1906.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 60-70% of an old thinning refinish with scattered light wear and patches of pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Grips showing little handling wear and slight discoloration. Poorly engraved butt with an electric pencil. Action crisp. Strong bore.
