A silver case clock marked "D.C.Co" with anchor, lion & C hallmarks for The Douglas Clock Company, Ltd., Birmingham, England, registered in 1904. A fancy case with classic Art Nouveau floral and vine decoration and "Alas How Fleeting". Malachite cabochon set on the top of the case. Carved ivory base having a relief carved floral and vine decoration. Working condition. Stable age split across the ivory base, otherwise excellent condition.
