Description
Jefferson Davis: Cabinet Card. 4.25" x 6.5". The portrait of an older Davis was from the W. W. Washburn Cabinet Portrait Studio, New Orleans, Louisiana. The reverse has a pencil inscription on a piece of affixed paper, "Portrait of Ex pres Jefferson Davis given by him to W. J. Hinchey, 1868". Toning, soiling, and a tear in the upper left corner, thus good.Auction Info
