Description
[Mark Twain]. The Mark Twain Birthday Book. London: Remington & Co., 1885. First edition. Small octavo. 288 pages. Publisher's red cloth stamped in black, front board stamped in gilt. Black floral endpapers, all edges trimmed.Scarce, first edition of this collection of Twain quotes.
Condition: Minor edgewear, some staining to boards, corners just rubbed. Ink inscription to half-title, a few pages with ink and pencil names added to date blanks. Minor, scattered foxing. Very good.
