James G. Birney and John Hale: Liberty and Free Soil Party Prints. 1) Hand-colored small folio lithograph [9.75" x 13.75"] published by Nathaniel Currier in 1844, titled "James G. Birney, Nominated by the Liberty Party for Eleventh President of the United States." Sunning, some damp stains (mainly in the lower right), tape bleed-through on top edge in three spots. Good overall. 2) Hand-colored small folio lithograph [10" x 14"] published by Kellogg & Comstock in 1852, titled "John P. Hale. The Champion of Liberty and Free Soil."Auction Info
