Description
Rare British Cased Maidstone Typhoid Medal Awarded to C. H. Meek, 1897.32.5 mm, the obverse marked MAIDSTONE KENT; the reverse WITH GRATITUDE TO C. H. MEEK FOR LOVING SERVICES 1897. The medal is housed in what is presumably the original case of issue. In the main awarded to nursing staff that provided care during the Typhoid epidemic.
Condition: Excellent.
