Cased Colt Model 1860 Army Single Action Revolver.

Serial no. 76172 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and butt] and 6172 [cylinder], .44 caliber, 8-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Top of barrel marked: ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA. COLT'S . PATENT to left side of frame. Case-hardened frame and hammer. Brass triggerguard. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Manufactured in 1862. Contained in fitted wood display case with green felt lining. Sold long with tools, bullet mold and powder flask.

Condition: Very good as partially cleaned. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Few minor scuffs present to wood. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
