Description
Decorative Silver Inlaid Flintlock Pistol.Unserialized, approximately .64 caliber, 11-inch two-staged barrel. Engraved scenes to top of barrel and upper tang. Flintlock action. Smooth hardwood full-stock with numerous in laid decorations. Two diamond shaped escutcheons to top of stock. Elaborately scroll and floral carved brass grip cap. Overall measuring 18 1/2-inches.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with honest handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Large cracks to each side of forearm. Some decorative inlay loss. Action needs adjustment. Moderately pitted bore.
