12 Gauge Winchester Model 21 Skeet Grade Double Barrel Shotgun Two Barrel Set.Serial no. 20282. 12 gauge. 26 and 30-inch barrels with a matted ventilated rib. 30-inch barrel have an over-stamped serial number. Blued side panel boxlock action with matted top. Matted top lever. Ejectors. Blued single selective trigger. Non-automatic safety. Finely checkered pistolgrip stock of figured walnut. Blued steel grip cap. Gold oval with initials. Deluxe style checkering with checkered panels at head of stock. Later Sportsman red rubber recoil pad. Individual 11-inch beavertail fore-ends of highly figured walnut with diamond pattern checkering. Browning Superposed brown trunk case with fleece lining.
Data: Barrel Dimensions 26-inch barrels: Bores: 0.730/0.731 inches Chambers: 2 3/4 inches. Chokes: 0.004/0.018 inches (Cylinder/Modified). 30-inch barrels: Bores: 0.727/0.727 inches. Chambers: 3 inches. Chokes: 0.010/0.034 inches (Improved Cylinder/Improved Modified). Proof: Winchester Proof. Stock Dimensions: Pull: 14 1/8 inches Drop at comb: 1 3/4 inches Drop at heel: 2 3/8 inches Cast: None. Weight: 7 pounds, 11 ounces. Condition: Fine, as refinished. 26-inch barrels show 98-99% reblued finish. 30-inch barrels show a slight upward bend at the muzzles and show 96-98% reblued finish. Excellent bright bores. Action shows 70-80% bluing with considerable carry wear. Reblued triggerguard shows 94-96% bluing. Refinished stock shows some wear at the head. Very small crack at head on right side. Stock shows a number of light scratches and marks. Grip cap shows 90-95% bluing. 26-inch barrel fore-end shows a few light marks and a few small losses to the finish. Fore-end iron shows wear to bluing. 30-inch barrel fore-end shows a 1/2 inch vertical crack at the midpoint of the edge and a few light marks. Case in fine condition with some staining.
