Description
P. B. Lady of Silver City, New Mexico: Vintage Holster and Cartridge Belt, Circa 1890. The wide border tooled hand-stamped holster, with a closed toe, is for a 4¾" Colt SAA pistol. The 1¾" cartridge belt measures 36¾" to the original middle hole and adjusts down to 34" at the smallest and up to 39½" at the longest. There is a row of cartridge loops for thirty individual .38 caliber rounds. The holster is marked in the center with, "P. B. Lady/ Silver City/ N.M." in an oval cartouche. Both the belt and holster have some surface crazing. A great holster from the hometown of Billy the Kid.Auction Info
