Description
[James G. Blaine]: Currier & Ives Comical Print. 13" x 17" hand-colored print of a laughing gentleman in tri-corner hat, originally titled "A Capital Joke!" but with overprint added that reads "The Ohio Smile." An inked inscription at bottom reads "25,000 Repn. gain over 1883".Blaine won Ohio in 1884.
Condition: Sunning with faint damp stain, horizontal creases from being rolled up, hinge remnants. Very good.
