Signed and inscribed by the author to the front free endpaper recto, "To / Eddie Gilcrest / with every good wish / Edgar Rice Burroughs." Octavo. xii, [4], 326, [2] pages. Illustrated with five plates by Frank E. Shoonover, including the frontispiece. Publisher's brown cloth stamped in red-orange; facsimile dust jacket. Corners bumped, head and foot of spine pushed and somewhat worn, soiling to upper board and spine. Cream endpapers. Internally clean and tight, all edges trimmed; text block edges toned with minor wear. Very good.
