Publisher's rawhide backstrip over "grass"-covered boards, spines stamped in silver, slipcase. Spines sunned, some rubbing to boards, some wear to slipcase. Bindings are tight (most likely due to the nature of the rawhide - this hardening of the spines are fairly common for this title). Very good.
Laid-in is a publisher's small broadside, "About the binding of this book," in which they give advice on the care of this binding.
