Description
Winchester Model 92 Saddle Ring Carbine.Serial no. 960809, .25-20 W.C.F. caliber, 20-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear folding ladder sight. Blued finish. Saddle ring. Custom checkered walnut straight stock and fore-end. Metal carbine buttplate. Manufactured in 1926.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 40-50% of a thinning finish with signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scattered dings and scuffs present to wood. Few cracks to right side of stock at butt. Action crisp. Strong bore. Property from the James R. Glascock Collection.
