Description
Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine.Serial no. 937095 [base of receiver], .30 W.C.F. caliber, 20-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Winchester address and patent date to left side of barrel. Saddle ring. Case-hardened hammer and lever. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Metal carbine buttplate. Manufactured in 1923.
Condition: Good. Retaining traces of finish, the balance a smooth grey patina with scattered handling wear and patches of pitting. Rear sight elevator absent. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Action good. Strong bore. From the Collection of James Schubert.
