Serial no. 242958 [frame and crane], .45 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. Colt address and patent date to top of barrel. (bird) / S20 mark to left side of frame. Butt marked: U.S. / ARMY / MODEL / 1917 / NO. / 88 / 988. Stag grip panels.

Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish with some thin spots, light handling wear and fine spots of pitting. Crisp action. Bright bore. From the Collection of James Schubert.
