Description
U.S. Miles Full-Stock Flintlock Rifle.Unserialized, approximately .69 caliber, 45inch barrel fixed front sight. (eagle)/CT proof and US to top of barrel. Lock marked: MILES. Smooth hardwood full-stock. Three barrel bands and two sling swivels. Metal ramrod, triggerguard and buttplate.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action not working. Pitted bore. From the Collection of Dr. Phillip R. Rutherford
