Description
Colt Model 1878 Double Action Revolver.Serial no. 29756(butt and rear of cylinder), .44-40 caliber, 5 ½-inch barrel with single line Hartford address. Nickel-plated finish. Left side of frame with Rampant Colt in circle. Checkered hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt. Lanyard swivel. Manufactured 1892.
Condition: Fine to excellent. Retaining approximately 80-85% original nickel finish. Scattered dents and fine scratches. Some light flaking to cylinder and backstrap. Generous amounts of fire blue remaining on trigger. Grips: Excellent with minor dent at butt and just a trace of sun fading beginning to right grip panel. Bore: Fine showing little wear. Action crisp.
