Description
King George III Documents Signed (2) on a Single Sheet. Two pages, 11 3/8 x 19 inches, [London]; no date. On the recto, "The Charge of the Garrison of Gibraltar," calculating the per diem salaries for the garrison's leadership and staff. On the verso, "Abstract of the Charge of the foregoing Establishment," summarizing the per diem expenses for the "Island of Minorca" and the "Garrison of Gibraltar." Signed on each side by the king at the top left, "George III," and at the bottom right by Charles Townshend, Charles Wolfran Cornwall, and the Viscount Beauchamp.Condition: Lightly toned, slightly darker near the edges. Creased at folds with minor edgewear. Small pencil annotation at the top left on the recto.
