BAL's second issue of the title-page of part 1, state "A" of part 2. Nineteenth-century black cloth backstrip over plain blue boards, red gilt morocco lettering label. Some wear and soiling to binding, a few gutters cracking. Very good. The American issue of this title is much rarer than its British cousin. Housed in quarter morocco clamshell case. From the collection of Donald Kaufmann.
