Zachary Taylor: Sulphide Paperweight by Clichy. 2.5" diameter domed paperweight, circa 1848, featuring a military bust of "Taylor" against a cobalt blue ground. Some minute "flea bites" along the side and bottom. Two interior air pockets which are not apparent when the weight is laying flat or displayed against a dark background.
